Through a miniaturized electronic Smart Contact Lens, contact lens seems that can measure glucose levels in tears, and offer the best treatment for patients with diabetes, making it easier to monitor their condition without injecting a needle to take blood samples.
There is a wireless chip and glucose sensors mounted in between two layers of biocompatible materials in contact lenses. And Google says that the team of experts has put a small LED light in the contact lens which functions as a notification LED.
Google is currently fishing cooperative partnerships with several companies engaged in bidangmedis to facilitate licensing from the FDA that the Google technology ensures safe use by humans and not harm our health. So far, Google has not provided information when the release date and price predictions are Smart Contact Lens.
